I had the great pleasure of taking Gemma's headshots late last year, and I've got to say that one of the best parts of my job is hanging out with interesting people. We shared lots of laughs and got some great shots while we were at it. Here's a sneak peak:
I've started asking my clients some interview style questions in order to get to know them and the industry better. Here is the first in a larger series.
Who is your agent?
What is your favourite role you’ve ever done?
An ad for St John’s ambulance In which I had to dislocate my shoulder, faint from diabetes and have a seizure all in one go.
What's the best piece of advice you have been given?
Just keep going.
Your dream role?
Katherine from Proof.
What's your favourite thing about being an actor?
Getting to live a thousand different lives.
The thing you’re most grateful for?
The incredible people I’ve met along the way that have made the journey worth it.
What's your favourite book?
Anything high fantasy! (But the Obernewtyn chronicles were my first love)
Your favourite musician?
Advice to someone getting headshots for the first time?
Just have fun and be yourself.
Your favourite thing about shooting with Sarah?
Her incredible ability to make you feel so totally at ease even when you’re staring down the barrel of a camera. Sarah somehow managed to capture my personality perfectly and made the session feel like just hanging out with a friend. The best shoot I’ve ever done, and now I actually look forward to needing to update my headshots!
Gemma booked the basic headshot package which includes a 1 hour shoot, unlimited outfits and 3 x retouched images. For more information or to book your own headshot session, click here <3
